On September 22, 2025 Jason passed away after a three-year battle with cancer. He was born on March 19, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. Jason was a graduate of Goose Creek High School in 1991. His primary employment was as an over the road truck driver. He is proceeded in death by his Father (Howard E. Elj Sr.), Mother (Helen L. Elj) and brother (Eric J, Elj). He is survived by his siblings Howard E. Elj Jr., Maria S. Elj, and Christopher P. Elj.
