Henry Earl Ranson

Henry Earl Ranson was born on July 11, 1951, in Terry, MS to the late Odell Ransom Sr. and Martha Mae (Magee) Ransom. He was the sixth of ten children, and was affectionately known as Puddin amongst his family and friends. At a young age, Henry was baptized and began a life grounded in faith and family. In the 1970s. Henry relocated to St. Paul Minnesota where he met and later married the late Cordie Lee Dodd. Henry had a lively spirit and enjoyed playing hambone, fishing, dancing, spending time with friends and family, and talking smack to anyone willing to listen. Henry departed this life on Sunday September 14, 2025.

We Entrusted Henry Ranson's Care To
Spielman Mortuary
Spielman Mortuary has been helping Saint Paul families since 1950 when Kenneth and Helen Spielman purchased the National Funeral Home. For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family. We still operate Spielman Mortuary with the same traditions of pride, sensitivity, value, and attention to detail that the Spielmans followed for over three decades....
