Esther Christina Harter
August 6th, 1935 - September 26th, 2025
Esther Christina Harter (90) was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She is absent from her early body and now present with her Lord.
She was born on August 6, 1935, to Gus and Adeline Kahler. Her childhood was spent in South Dakota where she spent most of her time on the family farm. On August 5, 1950, she married the love of her life to Mervin Joe Harter.
Mervin and Esther’s children – LaVonne Mahoney, June Shannon, Kevin Harter, and Lisa Alexander were blessed to have her as their loving mother. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her children and family. We ask that you remember our mother, not for the way her life ended, but for the way she lived for her Lord May Esther’s memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion for her Lord to be carried on to the generations to come.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7th at Grace Church, 6400 West 20th Street, Greeley, CO.
