Geraldine S. Havis of Ocala, Florida passed away on September 28, 2025.  She was born on November 2, 1937 in Oxford, Florida to the late Fred and Pearl Scott. 

  

She graduated from Wildwood High school in 1955. 

  

Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband Herman H. Havis, parents Fred and Pearl (Oliver) Scott, brother Tommy Scott and sister Claudia Reedy. 

  

She is survived by her son Tony (Tammie) Havis, Floral City, Florida, daughter Theresa (Ron) Koch, Franklin, North Carolina, grandchildren Lona (LA) Dewey, Darrell (Jessica) Koch  Franklin, North Carolina, Stacy (Ron) Wilson, Woodstock, Georgia, great-grandchildren Jacob, Joseph, Cameron Koch, Franklin, North Carolina, Chase, Haley Wilson,  Kiara, Issac Dewey, Franklin, North Carolina, grandson Ethan Dewey, Long Island, New York and great-great grandson Brently Ross, Franklin, North Carolina. 

  

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:00 pm-7:00pm on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida 34470.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Wesley Woods, officiating. The burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
