Patricia Ann Ramsey
July 4th, 1939 - September 3rd, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Ramsey, of Mesa, Arizona. She was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 3, 2025. Patricia (Patti) was born in St Pancras, a suburb of Greater London, England, on July 4, 1939, to Laurence and Gladys Jee.
Patricia was two months old when England entered WWII with a declaration of war against Germany. She grew up in Westcliff-on-Sea, in Essex, England. She was the oldest of five siblings. Upon completing her education, she met a young US Airman, Donald Jensen. They were married December 29, 1956. Soon after, Donald returned to his Air Force duties in the United States, and some months later Patricia traveled by boat on the SS United States to America to start her life with Donald. She became a naturalized US citizen in 1968, one of the proudest days of her life. Patricia and Donald were divorced in 1975. She married Robert Ramsey on October 23, 1976 who also had three children of his own and moved to Arizona soon after. They were together until his passing in 1999.
Patricia enjoyed many things in life; many beloved cats and dogs, sports (mainly pro football and baseball), knitting, arts and crafts, and classic movies. She enjoyed music of every genre especially opera. She was gifted with a beautiful soprano singing voice of her own, and was a choir member in several different churches she attended. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she treasured every moment with them.
Patricia is predeceased by both of her parents, her brother Anthony Burnell, sisters Angela Clark, Geraldine Lomath, and Janet Jee. She is survived by her daughters Debra Perry (James), Melanie Baumbaugh, and Tammy Jensen, as well as Victor Ramsey (Judy), Marc Ramsey (Janet), and Pamela Oberg (Dean). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
Patricia will be buried with Robert at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 at 1:00pm at Faith Church of the Valley, 2125 E. Chandler Blvd Chandler, AZ 85225.
