Frankie Louise Iglehart Green
October 27th, 1930 - September 11th, 2025
Frankie Louise Iglehart Green, 94, of Seaside, California passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and service. Born in Fort Worth, Texas to Elder Luther and Emma Iglehart, she was raised in a strong church-centered community that shaped her lifelong dedication to ministry and outreach.
In 1950, she married Master Sergeant R.B. Green, the love of her life, and they settle in Seaside, raising two children. Frankie was a devoted wife, mother, and later, grandmother and great-grandmother. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Monterey Peninsula College and worked for over a decade as an Assistant Librarian and Teacher’s Assistant in the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.
A faithful member of Greater Victory Temple COGIC since 1960, Mother Green served in numerous roles including Church Secretary, Missions President, Sunday School Teacher, and Wedding Coordinator to name a few. Her joyful service and commitment to elders, youth, and the broader church community were felt by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband R.B., son Lawrence, daughter Denise, and her siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren Jamon Dunklin Sr. (Mirika), Anthony Butcher, and Arniesha Cora; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved family and church members.
Mother Frankie will be remembered for her radiant faith, generosity, and enduring love. She is now at rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mother Frankie Louise Iglehart Green’s Wake Service will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 at 5:30 pm at Greater Victory Temple COGIC, 1620 Broadway Ave, Seaside, CA 93955. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM at Greater Victory Temple COGIC, 1620 Broadway Ave, Seaside, CA 93955. A burial will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Mission Mortuary & Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave, Seaside, CA 93955.
