Archangel Jareth Winters

Archangel Jareth Winters, age 44, departed this life in the early hours of Friday, September 26, 2025. AJ, as he was called, was born Gregory Alan Baker on October 17, 1980, and at the age of three was adopted by his now father and had his last name changed to Werner. It was in later life that he changed his name to better reflect the way he viewed himself.

AJ was the first-born son of Ralf and Delilia (Baker) Werner. He was later joined by three brothers and one sister. AJ loved animals and fishing as a child, and that stayed true his entire life as he became particularly enamored with otters.

As an adult, he sought professions that would be of service to others. AJ became a licensed massage therapist as an early career, then went to school to become an EMT and then a paramedic, with aspirations of pursuing a nursing degree. His compassionate nature always reached out to those who were in need, even when times were trying for him. He also loved gathering with friends and family over good food and fun games.

Left behind to mourn him are his husband Brennen Winters, child Revan Presson, special friends Logan, Brice, Betty Jo, Anna and Tiffany, Tara and an abundant amount of other friends. His parents Ralf and Delilia Werner and maternal grandmother Eunice Baker. His brothers Michael (Ceara), Kyle (Amy), and Jacob Werner, sister Liane (Yassine) Mhalla, two nieces Hafsa Mhalla and Elaina Ganus-Werner, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
