It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lamont "Monty" Odel Wilch, who left this world on September 23, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on April 27, 1928, in Jenera, Ohio, Monty lived a life rich in love, family, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate to know him.
Monty is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Wilch. He is survived by his devoted daughter, four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy and fond memories. His family was his pride and joy, and he loved each of them dearly, imparting wisdom and affection that spanned generations.
Monty's strong love of God was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him through both the joys and challenges of life. He cultivated this faith in everything he accomplished and shared it willingly with those around him, inspiring family and friends through his unwavering dedication and kindness.
