Mr. Harry Waldo Pringle, Jr. age 81, a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at AdventHealth Heart of Florida surrounded by family. Mr. Pringle was born April 3, 1944, in Lakeland, Florida to Harry Waldo and Donie Mary (Rivers) Pringle, Sr. Harry was a lifetime Auburndale resident, graduated from Auburndale High School in 1962 and was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. He retired after 36 years as a Carman for CSX Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoors, football especially Alabama and the Miami Dolphins. Harry really enjoyed driving his red truck to Polk City & Green Swamp to look at nature and take it all in. He loved spending time with his devoted family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister – Mary Elizabeth Pringle Springer. Harry is survived by his loving family, wife of 60 years – Carol Pringle; son – Matt (Marta) Pringle; daughter – Allison (Andrew) Flowers and granddaughter – Jillian Flowers. A memorial service will be 11 am Monday, October 13th at First Missionary Baptist Church, 406 Main Street, Auburndale with a gathering beginning at 10:30 am at the church.
