Sandra Elise Van Epps Ossie

Sandra Elise Van Epps Ossie 65 years old of Hilton Head Island died peacefully in her home Wednesday morning, October 1st   surrounded by her husband Jim and other family members. She had been dealing with ongoing health conditions for the past 2 years.

Sandra was very well known in her industry as a retail clothing store owner and clothing designer. In addition, Sandra was extremely talented in the interior decorating and staging industry and had an eye like no other for transforming a home environment into an incredibility beautiful place to call home.

In addition to owning her own stores in Athens, Ga and Hilton Head Island she also managed several clothing stores across the southeast. Shortly after studying fashion merchandise and home economics at Georgia Southern University. Sandra was a Phi Mu sorority sister and the president of the Ethics Committee for her sorority chapter.

Sandra was very well known for her infectious smile and personality, her love for life and most of all her endless journey to charities and giving back to local communities.

Sandra is survived by her husband James “Jim” Ossie, her brother James “Jim” Van Epps, Sister Vicky Tavernier and many aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews across the U.S. She is predeceased by her parents, Barbara Jan Van Keuren and George Van Epps and her brother John Van Epps.

A celebration memorial is being planned, and the date and location will be announced.
