Vince "Vinny" Tyler Johnson

Vince (Vinny) Tyler Johnson of Centerville, MN passed away at the age of 19 in a car accident on September 13th, 2025.

  Vinny was preceded in death by his adoring mother Christine Johnson and his grandparents Roger and Karen Krech and also Glen and Dolores Gibbons.

Vinny is survived by his father Thomas Johnson, stepmother Lisa Johnson, sister Sophea Johnson and her fiance William Robertson. Also his uncles and aunts Michael (Barb) Johnson, Terry (Nancy) Johnson, Colleen (Gene) Trantanella, Vicky Johnson, Linda Krech, Nancy (Mike) Krech-Fleischhacker and many cousins.

    Vinny graduated from Centennial High School in June of 2024. He recently was leasing an apartment with friends in Blaine, MN and really enjoyed his job working on medical components at Velocity in Forest Lake, MN.

    Vinny was loved by all who met him and his friends were numerous. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, skateboarding, swimming and tubing. With his easy smile, fun loving attitude, sense of humor and acceptance of everyone around him he will truly be missed by so many. He was kind, smart and always ready to help anyone in need. He had such a big heart. Our loss is tremendous. We take comfort in trusting that Vinny is reunited with his mom Christine in our Lord and Savior Jesus loving care.   

Vinny you were a light that shone brightly but not nearly long enough for all of us that loved you.  

  Vinny's Memorial/Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, October 25 at the Sievers Shack, a special place that he enjoyed going to. Info is as follows:   Sievers Shack 13451 Zodiak Street Columbus, MN  55014 Please note Circle Pines is the city needed to type in for directions even though this barndominium is a little ways off Lake Drive in the Columbus area.
