All-States Cremation - Centennial
Nettie Alexander
1942 - 2025
Nettie Alexander, beloved Mom, Grandma, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2025.
Born to Ben and Madeline Knox in Caldwell, Texas in 1942, Nettie was a true Texan, raised with a strong foundation of faith and family. Her life was deeply rooted in Christ, and she was a devoted member of both Galilee Baptist Church and Progressive Baptist Church. Her faith guided her in always offering kindness, encouragement, and a generous spirit to others; she often found comfort and strength by reciting her favorite passage, Psalm 23.
Nettie dedicated her life to service, working for Denver Public Schools in the Nutrition Services Department for over 15 years. Nettie loved to cook, and her joyful spirit made everyone around her laugh, bringing warmth and light into every life she touched.
Family was the center of Nettie’s world. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Larry Alexander, and a loving mother to her children: Teresa, Reggie, Carla, Larnell, and Cheyenne. She was also a proud Grandma to thirteen grandchildren.
Nettie is survived by her four devoted children, thirteen grandchildren, and three siblings. She now rests peacefully, reunited with her parents, Ben and Madeline Knox, her cherished husband, Larry, her daughter Teresa, and siblings Bennie and Carol. While she will be deeply missed, her beautiful spirit and legacy of love will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." -Psalms 23:6
A Memorial service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236 on Friday, October 17th at 11:00 A.M. at the Committal Shelter C.
