Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel - Payette
Shannon Rae Osborn
May 15th, 1976 - September 30th, 2025
Shannon Ray Osborn was born on May 15th, 1976, in Ontario, Oregon to Bert and Sue Osborn of Payette Idaho.
She passed away peacefully at home on September 30th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love at the age of 49.
She is survived by her mother, Sue Osborn; her sister, Jacquelynne Osborn; her nephew, Carter; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bert Osborn, and her grandparents.
Shannon spent all of her life in Payette except for when she attended Albertson's College and Idaho State University. Most of her childhood was spent rafting the rivers of Idaho with her family. When she got older, she enjoyed traveling to visit several of the foreign exchange students the family hosted through the Lions club program.
Shannon had the biggest heart. She would do anything for anyone and cared so deeply for those that were close to her. She enjoyed time with some of her closest friends Michelle (Thomas) Hymas and Jessica (Birch) Ross, whom we also lost too soon.
Shannon loved the Arts and anything to do with music or movies. She loved to read and could debate with anyone on pretty much any topic. She loved to be around people and was a member of Eastern Star and P.E.O.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. MST at the United Methodist Church in Payette, procession to the Evergreen Cemetery and then lunch at The Plaza Inn in Ontario immediately following.
