Linda B. Verrier

Linda B Verrier, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on October 3, 2025 from cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana.

Linda has been a very active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church since her arrival in Tucson during 1984. She has served as rectory housekeeper, director of music for the church and the school, taught the adult Bible study, and assisted in a multitude of church and school projects over the past four decades.

Born March 22, 1944 in Greenfield, MA to parents Arthur Kirsch & Esther Brooks she was an only child. She graduated Arms Academy High School in Shelburne Falls, MA in 1962 where she met her husband Thomas Verrier. They were married in Turners Falls, MA in 1963. She was a devoted Army wife from 1963-1985 enjoying many exciting duty stations foreign and domestic until Thomas retired in 1985.

Linda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Thomas Verrier, (sister-in-law) Michele Steiner, daughter Yvette Kinney (Phil), son, James Verrier, granddaughter Felicia Rodarte (Brandon), great-granddaughter Kayla Palmer and great-great-grandson Enzo Cruz.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, stories and Christ like love for all. She also loved her many movies watching many of them multiple times. We will miss her terribly but we are glad that she is finally with Jesus.

Funeral services will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, Oct 17, 2025. Rosary at 9:30 AM with Mass following at 10:00 AM.
