Dorothy J. Coursey, of Sewell, NJ passed away at home on October 2, 2025.  She was 77 years old.

 

Born in Camden, NJ, Dot, as she was affectionately known, was full of life and personality.  She was deeply patriotic in all she did and cherished her Irish roots. 

Dot was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  She obtained employment with the DEA as a Drug Enforcement Instructor and Agent for many years in Quantico and Philadelphia.  She retired after 30 years of dedication. 

 

Predeceased by her parents Daniel Joseph and Mary Kate Coursey, and her sister Kate Ellen “Sweety”, she is survived by an aunt in California, an uncle from New Jersey, numerous cousins throughout the world and dear friends. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St., Mantua on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, beginning at 10 am.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in her memory at 11:00 am. 

 

Dorothy will be placed to rest in the family plot in Ireland in the Spring. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tunnels to Towers www.t2t.org
