Lorraine Anoszko, a resident of Delafield, WI passed away in her sleep October 1, 2025, at the age of 101.

She left her home in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin to work at Misericordia Nursing School in Green Bay, until she was old enough to enter their nursing school. As a graduate she became a Red Cross nurse and traveled across the country caring for polio patients. This included work at Waukesha Memorial Hospital (now part of Prohealth) until the polio department disbanded.

She went back to work in 1959 on the surgical floor until 1967 when she became part of the team setting up the intensive care unit. She became supervisor of intensive care in 1971 and worked there until her retirement over 20 years later. In retirement, she volunteered at a clinic at Saint Joseph's for several years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John. She is survived by her 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She has spent a lifetime caring for her community, her children and everyone around her. She will be sorely missed.
