Amy was born at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft Myers’s Fl, to Joe and Elizabeth.
She was raised in Venice FL and settled into her adult life in Sarasota, FL.
After attending Venice High School, Amy graduated from cosmetology school and became a highly successful hairstylist who was passionate about her work and her clients.
On October 4th heaven gained another angel, and Amy succumbed to her battle with breast cancer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Motzenbecker, her grandparents, Robert and Doris Ackernecht , and grandparents John and BJ Kovaric.
She is survived by her children, Charlie and Jovie Heaton. Her parents Joe and Kellie Ackernecht, Stepfather James Motzenbecker, sisters Chelsea Dorsey, Lauren Parsons (Joe), Brother Joey Ackernecht (Britnee), step- sister Nicole Motzenbecker, and her loving companion Rick Shaw, along with nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends and extended family.
Anyone that knew Amy knew that Her children were her heart and soul and the most important things in her life. In addition to her children, loved the outdoors, flowers and butterflies, and her Green Bay Packers!
