Kurt Gilbert Boucher

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kurt Gilbert Boucher, who died on October 2, 2025, at the age of 36. Kurt was born on February 3, 1989.

Kurt is survived by his beloved son, Jordan Boucher of Gardner, MA; his mother and step-father, Janice and Chris Whitfield of North Charleston, SC; and his father and partner, Eric Boucher Sr and Kristine Timm of North Chelmsford, MA. He also leaves behind two loving brothers, Eric Boucher Jr and his wife, Kristian Newby, of Walterboro, SC, and Ryan Doyle of Nashua, NH. He will be deeply missed by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Kimball of North Charleston, SC, and his cherished nieces and nephew, McKenzie Newby, Eric Boucher III, Wynter-Lea Boucher, and Teighlor Boucher, all of Walterboro, SC. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kurt was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Clifton Kimball; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Boucher; his paternal grandfather, Gilbert Boucher Sr; his paternal grandmother, Louise Brandon Boucher; his uncles James and Robert Brandon; and his cousin, Adam Boucher.

Kurt grew up in Maynard and Templeton Massachusetts and spent the last 15 years in North Charleston, SC.  In his free time, Kurt loved to play pool, write rap songs, and was always eager to try and create new inventions. He will be remembered for his kind heart, creative spirit, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
