Kendra Lee Duran passed away on September 16, 2025. Kendra was born in Cañon City, Colorado on July 20, 1986, to Cindy Martinez and Kenneth Duran. Kendra grew up in Cañon City as 1 of 8 siblings. Kendra met Valentin Martinez and spent 14 years together. Kendra loved spending time in the mountains camping and hunting with her children when they were young. Kendra was well known for her big, beautiful smile and her witty jokes and comments. Kendra was the “fun Aunt” according to her nieces and nephews! Her nieces and nephews will remember how much they enjoyed hanging out with her. They would all take her cruising and let her be the DJ. Kendra had a deep love for music. You would always find Kendra posting pictures of her kids and sharing music videos on social media. Kendra had a spunky personality and if she was going through a rough time, she hardly let it show. One thing Kendra‘s loved ones will miss about her is how she ALWAYS told them she loved them. No matter what was going on in Kendra‘s life at any given time, she always reminded her loved ones that she loved them and would frequently check in on them. Kendra loved her children and family very much. Kendra will be remembered for her witty personality, free spirit and always saying I love you. Kendra is very deeply missed by her children and family. Kendra was proceeded in death by her father Kenny Duran. Kendra is survived by her children Marcus Martinez, Dominic Vigil, Alesea Martinez, Valentin Martinez Jr. and Phillip Martinez; mother Cindy Martinez; sisters Amanda Martinez, Darshan (Carlos) Mariano, Victoria Duran; brothers Lance Duran, Eric (Hope) Martinez, Jesse Duran, Phillip ( Terry) Duran; special cousin Sherri Ann McKinney, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
