It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan L. Cornman Dodds, who left this world on October 11, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 12, 1953, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Susan imbued her life with warmth and humor, leaving behind countless cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Susan was known for her kindness and sense of humor. She brought joy to everyone she met and forged deep connections with family and friends. Susan became a beloved figure in her community, where she worked for many years as a dedicated Sales Associate before her retirement. Her friendly demeanor and genuine care for others made a lasting impact on her colleagues and customers alike.

Susan was preceded in death by her loving parents, Marlin R. and Betty L. Cornman. She is survived by her siblings: Shirley Maxine Gomez, Harmon Daniel Cornman, David Marlin Cornman (Ella Jane), Paul Lorin Cornman (Teresa), Patty Breeden, Tiffany Ellis (Donovan) and Mark James Cornman (Frances)  and a host of extended friends and family who will continue to honor her memory and legacy.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In celebrating Susan’s life, we remember her laughter and her generous spirit. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest peacefully.
