Gail Eileen Peterson Age 65, of Mahtowa   

Gail Eileen Peterson, 65, of Mahtowa, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2025, due to multiple ailments.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carol Peterson. She is survived by her siblings, Susan Webb and Craig (Yvonne) Peterson; niece, Sherry (Jared) Olson; nephews, Matthew Peterson  (Tiffany) and Kellen (Missy) Peterson; great-nieces and nephews, Roselyn, Steven, and Ella.   

Gail was raised in Mahtowa and was a proud member of the Barnum High School Class of 1978. After graduation, she attended DAVTI. Gail dedicated 43 years of her life to serving others through her work in the activities department at North Shore Estates (Lake Haven) Nursing Home in Duluth, MN.    A devoted and lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church, Gail shared her voice with the Come Together Kids Choir and was an active member of the Soul Sisters. She will be remembered for her kind heart, deep faith, and joyful spirit.   

 A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th at 11:00 AM at Salem Lutheran Church, 2702 1st St., Mahtowa, MN 55707, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and a reception to follow. Private interment will take place at Mount Salem Lutheran Cemetery.   

 In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church.
