Tracy Christianson, 51, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Born in February 1974,
Tracy was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who devoted her life to caring for others.
A proud graduate of Madison College, Tracy built a respected career in nursing and was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her kindness, empathy, and laughter touched the lives of countless family members, friends, and those she cared for throughout the years.
Beyond her work, Tracy’s greatest joy was spending time with her beloved niece, Jocelyn, with whom she shared a special and unbreakable bond. She also found immense happiness with her fiancé, Shane Baker, who brought love, comfort, and companionship to her life.
Tracy will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Tonia (Rob) Rainier and Trista (Kevin) Pitzen; her nieces and nephews, Brian Rainier, Chloe (Christian) Williams, Michael (Emily) Rainier, and Jocelyn Pitzen; her dear cousin, Cindy Rewoldt, who was always by her side through life’s challenges and joys; her Aunt Cathy Howe, whose constant love and support meant so much to Tracy; her good friend, Garth Koehn, with whom she shared a lasting friendship and a bond built on mutual support through life’s ups and downs; and her beloved K9 companion, Bibs, who was always faithfully by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jon Christianson and Vicky Jones, and her brother, Jon Christianson.
A kind and gentle soul, Tracy will be remembered for her steadfast love, compassion, and devotion to family. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.

We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
