Brandon John Park, 48, of Puyallup, passed away too soon on September 1, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Brandon was born in Tacoma, WA on August 17, 1977 to Dave and Joyce Park, joining his brother, Damond, and making their family complete. Growing up in Puyallup, Brandon attended school at Spinning Elementary, Kalles Jr. High, and Puyallup High School- where he got his nickname, “Berto.”

As a young boy, Brandon enjoyed fishing with his brother, trips to the Washington coast, and large family gatherings for the holidays. As Brandon grew older, he developed a deep passion for music and enjoyed attending concerts. He came from a musically talented family and played the bass guitar and sang in many bands over the years.

After high school, Brandon welcomed his first son, Skylar, in 1997 with Kelly Petersen [Fairbanks]. From that day forward, he dedicated his life to being a loving and supportive father. Also in 1997, Brandon obtained his electrician’s license. Shortly thereafter, he started his career at True Light Electric, where he worked as a journeyman until his untimely passing.

In June of 2008, Brandon was married to Chris Turner, who he met while attending the same high school. Together they went on to welcome 2 beautiful children of their own; their daughter Aislyn in 2008, and their son Keiren in 2013. Brandon loved his kids fiercely with his entire heart and soul.

Brandon had countless friends, with many lasting over decades. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Brandon knew that he was loyal, honest, loving and humble. That he loved taking his kids to the fair, lighting fireworks, hunting, blasting metal music (especially TOOL), playing with his dog Siggy, jamming with his buddies, and watching the Seahawks. And that although he was often a quiet, reserved man of few words, Brandon had a stellar sense of humor and heart of gold.

Brandon was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Joyce Marlene Park [Kaiser]; beloved son Skylar Orion Park; maternal grandparents, Phyllis and Ernie Kaiser; and paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Perle Park. He lives on through his 2 incredible children; daughter Aislyn Michelle Park (16) and son Keiren Alderon Park (12), infinite loved ones, his music, and all the memories.

Brandon, you are loved and missed beyond measure. While the ripple effect of losing you is felt far and wide, the impact you have left us will never fade.

Rest in peace Berto.
