Donald Werner Sharp, born July 3, 1946, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025 at the age of 79.
Donald is survived and missed by his children, Laura Collins (nee Sharp) and Brian Sharp; his brother, Charles Sharp; his grandchildren, Brayden, Payton, and Isabel Collins. He will be remembered with love by Patrick Collins, Rachel Saukko, Marcia Sharp (nee Williams), his nieces and nephews, his extended family, and his friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (“Kate”) Sharp (nee Payne) and his parents, Robert K. Sharp and Erna Sharp (nee Gylfe).
Donald grew up in LaGrange, Illinois and raised his own family in Darien, Illinois. He moved on during his life to live in northern Wisconsin, Indiana and Florida. No matter where he called home, his children and grandchildren were close to his heart, along with his faithful four-legged companions, Jetta and Spree.
Donald’s quick wit, “sharp" humor, and deep devotion to family live on through his memory.
