September 25th, 1951 - October 11th, 2025
Mrs. Mills was born September 25, 1951, in Ashford, Alabama to Alex and Gladys (Glass) Daniels. She was a 70 year resident of Auburndale, Florida and graduated from Winter Haven High School. Neita was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Auburndale and retired as a CNA from Winter Haven Hospital. Neita enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, campfires and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers – Loyd & Jim. Neita is survived by her loving & devoted family, husband of 59 years – Thomas Mills; son – Darryl Mills of Auburndale; daughter – Debbie (Keith) Davis of Auburndale; brother – Rex Daniels of Lakeland; 4 grandchildren – Jonathan (Kayla) Sanchez of Winter Haven, Ashley (Stephen) Edwards of South Carolina, Dalton Walter of Texas & Hunter (Leah) Davis of Lakeland; 11 great grandchildren – Ellie, Ryder, Caden, Lilie, Skyler, Xander, Castiel, Liam, Harlyn, Layke & Coast. Funeral services will be held 3pm Saturday, October 18th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
