Twyla Irene Terven, 95, of Tucson Arizona quietly passed away on October 11, 2025 at Brookdale North Tucson.  

 

Born in Bellflower, Illinois, on November 29, 1929, Twyla spent over 50 years living in farming communities in Illinois. Twyla was a respected banker for many years working at Woodford County Bank in El Paso, Illinois, relocating to Arizona in 1984 took her to Chandler Community Bank in Chandler Arizona. Twyla spent her retirement years traveling within the states and abroad making numerous memories and friends. In later years after moving to Green Valley, Arizona she volunteered for the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce.  

 

Twyla was preceded in death by three children, Emery Hale, David Hale, Dennis Hale, her parents, Frank and Nellie Campbell, sisters, Louise Peterson, Della Tipsord. She is survived by son Doug Hale (Becki), Ashkum, IL, daughter Nancy Coffinger (Scott), Tucson, AZ, son Mike Terven (Donna), Corpus Christi, TX, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.  

Twyla’s hobbies included traveling, playing cards, numerous board games, gambling, sewing, genealogy, visiting family and friends. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
