Daniel J. Delre

Daniel J. Delre, 72, of Sewell, NJ passed away at Cooper Hospital in Camden. 

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Dan was born and raised South Brunswick, NJ.  He graduated from South Brunswick High School, Class of 1972 before attending Middlesex County College for a couple of years.   Dan was a volunteer Fireman and EMS for Monmouth Junction, and a telephone technician with N.E.C. and retired after 36 years of dedicated employment. 

Away from work, Dan was loving husband, and a proud and loving Father and Grandfather. He was also a talented self-taught woodworker.  He enjoyed time outside, tending to his yard, and his prized John Deere tractor.  Dan looked forward to easy Sunday mornings with a Sudoku puzzle.

Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Joanne (Zito) Delre, and brother Nicholas Delre, he is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Renee (nee Rober); 3 children, Daniel Delre and his wife Melissa, Shannon Giuliano and her husband Joe, and Olivia DiBartolo and her husband Eric; siblings, Joanne Dowd, Mary Sowards, Jimmy Delre and his wife Margaret, and sister in law, Karen Delre; 8 cherished grandchildren, J, Gianna, Michaela, Danny, Evan, Joey, Mia and Parker.  Dan is also survived by his extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends may attend his viewing on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 9:00am until 11:00am at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell.  A Funeral Ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 11:00am.

Cremation services and interment will be held privately for his immediate family.
