Dianne Neal

Dianne Neal, born Alice Dianne Marchand on September 11, 1948, in Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Summerville, South Carolina. She was 77 years old.

Dianne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend whose presence brought warmth to every room she entered. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and a heart committed to service.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Samuel H. Neal; her daughters Tiffany Harper Schmidt (Mark) and Angela R. Hayes (Shay); her son Samuel H. Neal II (Allison); and her brother Alfred Marchand (Sarah). Dianne’s legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind countless friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Dianne was preceded in death by her father Charles D. Marchand (Phyllis), her mother Sara Alice McLeland, and her grandparents Francis and Claudell McLeland.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Dianne loved God with all her heart and lived out that love through tireless service in the church community. Over the years, she taught Sunday School and Children's Church and led the Women's Ministry with grace and dedication. Her spiritual guidance left a lasting impact on those she mentored and served alongside.

May the memory of Dianne Neal bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Covenant Church of God 304 S. Pine Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
