Donald Glenn Brazier

Devoted husband, father, and Grandfather Donald Glenn Brazier, passed away on October 14th, 2025, in Tampa, FL at the age of 85. Born on July 30th, 1940, he grew up in Pittsburgh's Westwood and Green Tree neighborhoods.

 While raising his family, he was a member of the Green Tree Volunteer Fire Department.  Donald proudly served in the US Army as a Tanker in the 32nd Armored Regiment at Ft Stewart Ga from 1958-1960.  Starting in 1963, Donald built his career at United Parcel Service as a Sales Manager and transferred to recruiting and Personnel.

In 1984, he moved to Florida’s West Coast where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends eventually retiring in Bonita Springs Fl in the beautiful community of Bonita Bay where he was happiest next to his pool enjoying a late afternoon cocktail while looking out at the golf course.

He is survived by his wife Sandy (McGuffey) sons Donald Jr. and Kirk, daughters-in-law Seri and Donna and Grandchildren Morgan and Matthew Brazier.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Anna and his brother Dewey.

A service will be held on Monday, October 20th, 2025, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), which honors fallen first responders by supporting their families.
