Barbara Catherine Ambrosini, 72, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Oakland, California, surrounded by love and under hospice care.

A Funeral Service will be held at Musgrove Funeral Home, 225 South Danebo Ave., Eugene, OR 97402, on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11 a.m.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Barbara earned her associate’s degree in communications from Lake Shasta Community College. She met the love of her life, Frank Ambrosini, when she was just 14, and they shared a happy life together until his passing in 2005. Years later, she found love again with longtime family friend Behringer “Bud” Wilson, whom she married in 2015. They remained devoted to one another until his passing in 2019.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, her second husband Bud, and her eldest daughter Toni. She is survived by her daughter Tina, as well as her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She spent her later years surrounded by family, first living with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, and later moving to the Bay Area to be near her daughter. Barbara loved her family deeply and found joy in the simple moments — watching movies, exploring the outdoors, traveling, spending time with loved ones, and even attending Burning Man, where her adventurous spirit shone through.

Barbara was beautiful inside and out. Through every challenge, she showed remarkable strength, grace, and an unwavering smile. She was a light to all who knew her and will be remembered with endless love and gratitude.
