Kathleen F. Morrison, affectionately known as Flash, passed away on October 9, 2025. Flash was born in Paterson, New Jersey on May 18, 1946 and moved to Nutley, New Jersey as an infant.
Flash graduated from Nutley High School, then attended Averett Junior College in Danville, VA. She then attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, where she graduated with a teaching degree in Physical Education. Flash taught many years in both the Greenville Public Schools and Greensboro Public Schools.
Flash leaves her brother, John Flanigan and wife, Phyllis, her niece, Jennifer Rivela and husband, Jim, and her great-nephew, Ryan Eddy.
Services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at St. Pius Catholic Church at 11:00AM. There will be a visitation held 30 minutes before the service, followed by a mass and interment.
