April 10th, 1941 - October 18th, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrell Svec, beloved mother and aunt, age 84, of St Paul, on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Ernest Mentes; sisters, Mary Mentes, Marilyn Farley and Juanita Atchison; and daughter, Lailani Larson. Survived by son, Shawn Larson; brother, Kevin Mentes; sister, Mardell Christie; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Despite many health challenges, Sherrell remained resilient, independent and grateful each day. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of the United States.
