Brian Keith Duncan
August 25th, 1965 - October 19th, 2025
Brian Keith Duncan, 60, of Hiltons passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a native of Dayton, Ohio and relocated to Hiltons, Va in 2002. Brian was a mechanic for 40 years and owned and operated Duncan Automotive in Hiltons since 2003. He had a passion for racing, motorcycles, and classic cars. In his younger years, he raced both cars and motorcycles. Brian was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his granny, Margaret Massie; uncle, Richard Massie; father-in-law, James Shaffer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Ramona Shaffer-Duncan; son, Clinton Duncan and wife Bekah; daughter, Crystal Wise and husband Jamie; grandsons, Austin James Murphy (Georgeanna), Iver Grey Duncan, and Ethan Wise; granddaughter, Cheyanne “Baby Squirrel” Shaffer and Savannah Wise; great-grandsons, Bentley Murphy and Wesley Murphy; mother, Virginia Duncan; sister, LeeAnn Kneubuehl; niece, Allison Gill and husband Tyler; great niece, Joanna Gill; along with a host of friends and extended family.
A celebration of Life service will be conducted at 5pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Scott County Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Powers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive by 4:50pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Shipstone and his staff for their loving care.
