James Andrew Bucior, a resident of Palmer, Massachusetts, passed away on October 17, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on August 18, 1956, in Springfield, MA, to the late Henry and Norma (Melen) Bucior. James was known for his strong work ethic and creativity. He began his working career delivering propane gas for Osterman's Gas Co and then worked as a long-haul truck driver for Jenkins & Simmons Trans. Co. both in Palmer. A dedicated long haul truck driver, he devoted many years of his life to his career, having retired from Northern Tree Service, and also worked for Bergeron Trucking. His hands were rarely idle; he took great pride in building walls, laying curbs around his home, and splitting wood, activities that showcased his imaginative spirit and commitment to hard work. A lifelong resident of Palmer, James graduated from Palmer High School. In his youth he began nurturing his passion for racing go-carts. As he grew, his love for adventure led him to ride Kawasaki motorcycles, a hobby he cherished throughout his life. He was also a great mechanic. James is remembered fondly by his surviving brother, John Bucior of Palmer, and his sister-in-law, Denise Bucior. He leaves behind his niece, Jennifer Bucior, and his two nephews, Andrew and Jonathan Bucior, along with great-nieces and a great-nephew, Violet, Jackson, and Riley. He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Thomas Bucior. All services are private, honoring James's wishes for a simple farewell. May he rest in peace.
