Susan Roth-Mulrow, 69, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, in her Tucson home.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 2800 W. Ina Road, Tucson, AZ.
Susan was born on February 9, 1956, in Guthrie Center, IA, the youngest child of James and Virginia Roth. At the age of 4, she moved with her family to Coolidge, AZ where she attended Coolidge Schools graduating in 1974. She enjoyed her high school years and was active in band, FHA, FFA serving as chair of the parliamentary procedure team, class and student body officers. She was chosen as “Best All Around” her senior year, elected Prom Queen and FFA Sweetheart.
In 1978, Susan graduated from the University of AZ with a bachelor’s degree in education. She dedicated her career—and her heart—to the Marana Unified School District serving 30 years as a teacher, department chair, mentor, class sponsor, and cheerleader coach. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to nurturing young minds has touched countless lives.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John Mulrow; her beloved daughter Meaghann, her cherished granddaughter, Madelyn; her devoted sister Charie Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you support your local public schools in Susan’s memory to honor her lifelong dedication to education.
