I sought the LORD, And He heard me. Psalms 34:4
Danielle Maria Monte
Born: June 21, 1979, in Castro Valley, California
Died: October 12, 2025, in Mountain Home, Idaho
When Danielle Maria Monte returned to her heavenly home, she was greeted by her 2 big brothers who preceded her in death, John A. Monte III, and Albert A. Monte. We know both sets of grandparents, her aunt, as well as many other ancestors welcomed her with open arms. Danielle leaves behind her 2 sons, DeAngelo, and Gray Monte, her parents, Linda & John A. Monte Jr.; 7 siblings, David (Karol), Kevin (Angie), Deanna, Delna (Vince), Darla (Jamie), Jonathan (Sarah), and Dawnette, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Daniella was a loving mother who loved her sons with all her heart. As a single mother, Danielle proved a strong, compassionate determination to give her sons the best she possibly could. She loved everyone she knew and was willing to help them in any way she could. She stayed in contact with loved ones and always nurtured every relationship she had. As an animal lover, Danielle often brought in strays. We know her 3 dogs, Moo, Betty, and Burnt Toast will miss her. We will think of Danielle every time we pass a sunflower, garden or anything in nature. She was devoted to the scriptures. We tell you; it is not goodbye – it’s just time until we meet again. We Love You.

We Entrusted Danielle Monte's Care To
Rost Funeral Home
As the only funeral home in Elmore County, the staff at Rost Funeral Home work hard to be active members of the Mountain Home community and to be there to take care of families in every way possible when the need arises. Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
