Julia Lucero, age 94, of Centennial, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord on October 18, 2025. She was born on May 22, 1931, in Brighton, Colorado, to the late Mary Hernandez madian name Carlin and Antonio Hernandez. Julia was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, John Lucero, with whom she shared 73 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and a life rooted in love, faith, and dedication. She is preceded in death by her two loving sons, Anthony Hernandez and John Lucero Jr. Julia is survived by her daughters Joyce Quintana, Anna Lucero, and Julie Armento; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren — 54 descendants in all, who carry on her legacy of kindness and strength. Julia will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family. Her presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her, and her memory will forever live in the hearts of those she touched. Funeral services will be held at Romero’s Funeral Home 4750 Tejon St,. Denver, CO, 80211 She will be deeply missed by all who loved her dearly.
