Butch Carl, 79, husband of Darlene Hayes Carl, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. He was born in Lexington on December 25, 1945 to the late Ernest Dunlap and Elizabeth Reed Carl. Butch was Head of Security for Wesley Village, Former Chief of Police in Woodford County, and a member of Buford Lodge.  

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Greg (Sherry) Carl and Missy Carl, both of Versailles; his grandchildren, Savannah (David) Hutchinson and Miranda Carl (Skyler); and his great-grandchildren, Liam Hutchinson and Greyson Hutchinson.  

 

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Pastor Bobby Cairell officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
