Joseph Thomas Beery (“Tom”)

September 9, 1953 – October 15, 2025

Joseph Thomas Beery, better known as Tom, passed away October 15th, 2025, at the age of 72 in Northglenn, Colorado. Born on September 9, 1953, to parents Mary E. Beery and Joesph P. Beery, Tom grew up in Thornton, Colorado with his sister Mary Jo Berezin where he attended and graduated from Merritt Hutton High School. Tom then went on to attend The University of Colorado where he met his wife, Penny.

Tom shared his life with his beloved wife, Penny N. Beery, and was a proud father to his son Michael K. Beery (wife Nikki Beery) and daughter Jennifer L. Beery. He adored his grandchildren — Aaliyah M. Beery, Rylan J. Beery, Cameron L. Beery, and Aria I. Gipson — who brought him endless joy and pride.

Throughout his career at Storage Technologies/Sun Microsystems as a Peripheral Buyer, Tom built strong friendships and earned the respect of those he worked with. Outside of work, he was happiest when tinkering with cars, riding his motorcycle, camping with family and friends, enjoying a round of golf, watching the Broncos or a Colorado Buffs game, and cheering on his children and grandchildren at their sporting events.

Tom lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends. Tom’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
