Bonnie I Goforth

Bonnie I. Goforth age 88 of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2025. Bonnie was born in Bonny Blue, VA on December 26, 1936, to Robert and Elsie Cradic. She enjoyed gardening, going to church, and spending time with her granddogs. Bonnie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Charles Goforth Sr.; granddaughter Tomi Sye Goforth; as well as several siblings. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Joe Goforth and wife Barbara; Charles D. Goforth Jr. and wife Elisa; grandchildren Andy Goforth, Courtney Goforth, Kelsey (Travis) Walsh, and Sage Goforth; great-grandchildren Zoey Goforth and Emma Allgood; sister Irene Peck; as well as a host of extended family and friends.  

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Hamlet-Dobson Memorial Park with Justin Gooch officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to your church or to the charity of your choice.
