It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cheryl Lynn Scholl, 66, of Lexington/Summerville, SC, who passed away peacefully on 10/25/2025 surrounded by family.
Lynn was born on October 15 in Eufaula, Alabama to Burnard and Johnnie Cooper. She grew up in Eufaula and later made her home in Summerville, where she raised her family and later moved to Lexington.
Lynn is survived by her daughter Valorie Cooper, grandchildren Tes and Caroline Cooper, Brother Keith Cooper( wife Sumra and their children Zain, Rais and Aden ). She was preceded in death by both parents.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Mom I Love you and will miss you ! You fought a hard battle till the very end.
Her brother Keith lives in England with his family and sent a loving message for/about his sister :
Lynn was always by my side or a few steps behind me growing up. We played together with all our many cousins in the iron clay hills of Bakerhill with the Dasinger clan, Cindy and Ellen and with our Enterprise cousins George and Ray Kennedy. Lynn was quick with a laugh, a tad mischievous, but always in a fun, caring way. She gave me a lesson in the way of her passing, which she handled with courage and positivity. I pray that near my passing, I too have the courage and strength of will to reassure those around me, who love me, that fear will not control me. Her strength in the end was something I will never forget. I am very happy that I was able to tell her that I love her as our last words. I will miss her deeply for the rest of my days.
