David W. Goddu, 77, a lifelong resident of Palmer passed away on October 26, 2025. Born on June 29, 1948, in Springfield, MA he was the son of the late, Lionel and Alice (Maharne) Goddu.
David was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the US Army. He dedicated his career to working as an automotive machinist for many years.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 25 years, Gloria J. Goddu. He is also survived by his children, John Freeman and his wife Beck, Rob Freeman and his wife Jessica, Leslie Archambault and husband Eric, and Robert Harnois. He will also be missed by his four grandsons, Mason and Luke Archambault, Wesley Freeman and Peter Masterson. He was predeceased by his sister, Geraldine Freeman.
Calling hours are Mon., Nov. 3rd, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Anne's Cemetery in Three Rivers with military honors.
