Eugenie Margeretha Eustis (née Van Someren) of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. She was 84.
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 26, 1941, Eugenie was the beloved daughter of Adriaan and Matilda Van Someren. Her father served as a career Ambassador for Holland.
Eugenie later met Billy R. Eustis, a multi-platinum and gold record singer and songwriter. The two were married for 48 years, they shared a life filled with music, laughter, and love.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy; her parents, Adriaan and Matilda; her brothers, Om Freddy and Jules; and her sister, Tante Lien.
Eugenie is survived by her loving son, Marc, and his wife, Penny; her cherished grandchildren, Erika, Joshua and his wife Elizabeth, and Lindsey; and her dear friends, neighbors, and caregivers who brought her comfort and joy in her later years.
Eugenie will be remembered for her warmth, elegance, and the deep love she had for her family and community.
