Mary “Jackie” Jacqueline SmithSeptember 2, 1959 – October 22, 2025
Mary “Jackie” Jacqueline Smith, 66, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born on September 2, 1959, in Denver, Colorado, Jackie was the sixth of nine children. She grew up in a home full of love, and deep family bonds.
Jackie was passionate about her children and grandchildren and was recently blessed to become a great-grandmother, a role she embraced with endless joy. She lived her life fiercely and fully, with a heart as wild and beautiful as the mountains she loved so much. Whether tending to her garden or exploring the outdoors, Jackie found peace and happiness in nature. Her love for flowers, of every color and size, reflected her vibrant spirit and appreciation for life’s simple beauty.
She is survived by her former husband and good friend, Rick, beloved children Michelle (Mike), Sean (Sherry), Shannon, Sarah, Shayleand, and Kayla, along with many grandchildren, a great-grandchild, three brothers, and four sisters who will carry her strength, humor, and love forward.
Jackie will be laid to rest on November 13, 2025, in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Her memory will live on in every blooming flower, every mountain breeze, and in the hearts of those who loved her.
