Connie Mae Faulk, 70, of Pelion, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Seattle, Washington, to the late Lloyd James and Mary Rosemma Cole.

Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her unconditional love, sharp wit, and honesty that could always be counted on. Her ability to be direct was balanced by her deep compassion for others-qualities that made her both strong and deeply loved by everyone who knew her.

Connie had a lifelong love for gardening and horses, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her family. Her home was a place of warmth and laughter, where she welcomed everyone with open arms. Connie had a remarkable way of making others feel seen and cared for; she often opened her home and heart to anyone in need, offering comfort, advice, and a safe place to land. Her strength and love were the glue that held her family together, and her spirit will continue to guide them in the years to come.

She is survived by her son, Neil Wilbanks; daughters Tara King and Catherine Nates (Phil); grandchildren Dani Baker, Cole Baker (Mollie), and Charlene Baker (Cody); and her sisters Diana Franz and Marilyn Hepola (Marvin). She also leaves behind her beloved furry companion, Gober, who was never far from her side.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn F. Faulk, her sister Annette Johnson, and her parents.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Connie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 138 Corley Mill Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swansea First Baptist Church, Swansea, South Carolina 29160, a place that held special meaning to Connie and her family.

Connie’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
