Lisa Marie Orkins
February 10th, 1960 - October 20th, 2025
Lisa Marie Orkins (Getchell) was a wonderful kind women. She was someone I always thought of as a fairy or a butterfly. She didn't like to stay in one place for very long and she was always on the move. She lived from February 10, 1960 to October 20, 2025 moving around from Massachusetts, Florida, Arizona, and eventually found a place to settle in Oregon. No matter where she went she left so much kindness and many, many memories with every person she met. Lisa had lung cancer and was cancer free for 1 1/2 years. Lisa was also an organ donor. Even in her passing she still wanted to give what she could to someone who she thought needed it more. She truly was such a kind and caring person.
Now that you're gone, I see that all the time I thought I had, made me waste the time I could have had. I was too busy with the kids or too busy with work to call and say hello. I regret not talking to you as often as I should have. Telling you I love as often as I could have. I wish you were here to give me a hug and tell me that it's ok. Tell me that you understand and that maybe you were busy too. I know that you were always thinking of me, and now I will always be thinking of you. When we meet again, let's make up for all the time we lost. We'll see each other every day, and I will hug you every time I can.
Loving you always and forever, Aunty Lisa, until we meet again.

Lane Memorial Gardens
Just as every life is unique, every permanent memorial should be. Lane Memorial Gardens is renowned for offering more choices for memorialization than any other location, featuring a mausoleum, columbarium, beautiful statutes, and stunning views of the Willamette Valley. Established in 1953 in West Eugene, Lane Memorial Gardens spans 40 acres, featuring manicured lawns, natural areas, and captivating views of the Willamette Valley. Famous for its exquisite statuary and wildlife haven, the site is a fitting place for permanent remembrance. Recognizing the need for additional memorial options, we added a mausoleum and columbarium designed for above-ground casket and urn placement in 1983....
