Ms. Hazel Inez Spencer, 97, of Greensboro passed away on October 31, 2025, under the care of Ramseur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born in Randolph County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Cornelia (Walker) Spencer. Hazel last served as a healthcare giver for Ms. Prince and her mother Cornelia Spencer.
Hazel is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. Rachel (Spencer) Ingram of Asheboro, Mrs. Eva (Spencer) Hancock of Siler City, and her beloved George.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Nannie Lee Beck of Thomasville; two brothers, Ernest Spencer of Greensboro and Cleo Spencer of Sophia; and Miss Irene Bull of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service – Lambeth Chapel, 300 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27401 on Tuesday, November 04, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside funeral service will be at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Highway 220 Bus N, Asheboro, NC 27203 on Wednesday, November 05, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dale Banton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
