Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife Mary Katherine Buchan, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband and twin daughters at their home in St Petersburg, Fl, on October 30, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on November 29, 1946, in Derry PA, Kathy was the daughter of Francis and Helen Syster. She graduated from Derry Area High School and went on to work for Standard Steel in the Engineering dept. Kathy dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years John R Buchan and their twin daughters Nicole and Ninette Buchan.
