Skip Collins passed away on November 2, 2025, at his home in Greeley Colorado.

Born June 2nd,1947, raised in Hutchinson Kansas. Skip enjoyed hunting waterfowl and was an avid fisherman. He was also a blues hound, card shark, pool shark and one hell of a trap shot!

Skip served his country as a Sargeant in the US Army and received a full honorable discharge and retired from the Colorado Department of Transportation after 21 years.

He will be remembered as a kind hardworking man who brought joy to those around him and did what was necessary to provide not only for his family, but for those who he considered family.

Skip is preceded in death by his parents, James Edwin Collins and Sara “Micki” Mildred Cantwell; his Stepfather Lavielle Cantwell: his stepmother Alma Collins and his bother Micheal “Scott” Collins.

He is survived by his wife, Francie Collins; children Travis Collins, Jimmy Marshall, Jacob Felix, Madelyn Felix and all his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

A service honoring of Skip’s life will be held Friday, December 5th at from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Northern Colorado Crematorium, 700 8th St. Greeley Colorado, 80631.
