Betty J. Magnuson, age 88, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on October 28, 2025 in Longmont, Colorado. Betty Jane (Coss) Magnuson was born on August 13, 1937 in Illinois to Kenneth and Mildred Coss. She was the third of eight children born to the pair. Betty married Gerald Alfred Magnuson Sr. on January 31, 1958, in Illinois.  Gerald and Betty went on to have three children: Gerald in 1958, Colleen in 1960, and Debra in 1962. Above all else, Betty loved being a grandma and great grandma. She loved taking care of them and being a part of their lives. She loved her family deeply. Betty is survived by her children, Gerald Magnuson of California, Colleen Cassidy of Longmont, Colorado and Debra Beitz of Longmont, Colorado, her grandchildren: Amanda Frost, Melissa Beeck, Caitlin Cassidy, Samantha Cassidy, and her great grandchildren: Ella Beeck, Decker Beeck, and Deegan Frost.
